Carter decides to translate the scrolls but keep most of the info secret from Connie just to be safe. Mina helps carter decipher Marcus's scroll first:

Waste is a post apocalyptic version of were you are The infernal pit is where they take you for torture The layer is where you go when you get off the rack and start to torture other people.
We assume these are all sections of hell. Or maybe titles of scroll. Carbon dating shows these scrolls are the same time frame of the Dead Sea scrolls.

Connie is walking back to her room and thinks she sees something out of the corner of her eye.
Connie joins carter and Mina at the bar and says that she had a vision that Yellowstone national park is going to have an earthquake. Carter does some searches and finds that Yellowstone is on longitude and latitude is 44 and 110, just like what was mentioned in the scroll.
Carter decided to hack the national ideological survey and set off all the alerts that sets them in emergency mode to start getting people out because they now thing shits going down in the next 12 hours. He also looks at the actual seismic activity in the area.
Cal says that he used to bang a geologist and remember that there is a specific area where this might be taking place. Mina carter forgery up some fake ids for the us geological survey. Carter also calls bobby and lets him know what's happening. He knows nothing.
The team loads up their gear and heads out. Carter calls Lilly to see if she can help with any knowledge as well. He lo asks for witch bullets, she will call him back gator makes some incendiary grenades.

The team get on the flight and land at the site. No major activities out of the normal. We set up camp and relax. Set up sensors take samples. We sleep in shifts. Nothing happens that night. 5 am start to get a small tremor. A little more times passes and it gets a bit more intense. And see some bubbles come up from the lake. We leave for higher ground. Another big tremor hits. Cal falls and gets crap on himself he crawls towards the river, the water is gone. There is a large crack in the river bed.
More tremors trees in the distance are falling over. Carter looks towards the lake and it has lowered. Slight stem rising from lake. We hear a slow deep rumbling. Suddenly a huge fire column shoots up from the lake. The lake splits.
Marcus and carter have binoculars and a scope. They see a hand rise from the crack in the river bed and then another and they are crawling out. The hands are small, female, it's a,little girl. She is barefoot and her dress is covered in soot. She has a black pearl necklace on. She raises and lowers her hands and lowers them and the trembling quiets.
Carter takes a shot and hits her in the chest. She is knocked down. She clenches her hand grabs her necklace and breaks all the pearls. Stream of black smoke comes poring out and is coming towards the group. Everyone takes off running towards the tree line. The girl stands looks right at carter and the bullet come out of her chest.
Little girl is walk towards us. We are running into the woods. The streams of black smoke hit a bright light and bounce off. We see bright white wings. A figure appears we see him from the back and his hand is up. We hear another scream from the little girl. The black smoke circles around the little girl, the man suddenly has a sliver looking blade. The black smoke envelopes the girl and she is gone. The man looks back at us and then he is gone as well.
